Mommyhood Thursday - 01.26.2012 - Most Useful Items

kay... so as a new mommy I had a really difficult time putting together a registry when I was pregnant. How the heck did I know what I would need? I didn't have a clue! Bottle warmer? Um... sure... A swaddling blanket? Receiving blanket? Isn't a blanket a blanket? I was at a loss. So, I just went on Amazon, read the feedbacks and chose my items. Now that I've been at this for a mere 7 weeks (tomorrow!), I can share with you some of the items I've used the most! I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff... but I will certainly share more things with you as time goes on. Here it goes!

What? a notebook

What for? to jot down baby boo's feedings and diaper changes

What? Blankets

What for? For tummy time, to cover up baby boo at night, to shield baby boo from the sun in the car, to clean up drool when a burp cloth is out of sight, and on and on...

What? Bibs

What for? Catching baby boo's drool, spit up and projectile vomit! I thought I had too many bibs. Reality check? There's no such thing as too many bibs!

What for? For protecting mommy's clothes, wiping baby boo's drool and wiping up spills

What? Pacifier Clip

What for? To keep baby boo's paci from falling to the ground and to prevent pacifier from getting lost! I clip it to the crib, the car seat, the bouncy, the moby wrap or wherever baby is at the time!

What? Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag

What for? To carry all of baby boo's necessities. I just love it! It's roomy and has a built in changing pad.

What? First Years Bottle Warmer

What for? To make baby boo's formula warm. Much better than running it under hot water. It's eco friendly because you're not wasting all that water! : )

Now I leave you with some recent baby boo pics. The one of her and I was taken with my phone this morning (so the quality stinks, but I think she looks soo sooooo cute!!!) and the other pic was taken last week during tummy time. Her eyes get bluer and bluer every day! I hope they stay that way!!
